iPad Pro 2 To Get iPhone 7 Treatment With A10X Processor Upgrade

The upcoming iPad Pro 2 is rumored to have the same A10X processor as the iPhone 7. It is also rumored that the upcoming iPad Pro may launch in the late part of 2016 or early 2017.

Most of these iPad Pro 2 rumors have yet to be substantiated by Apple. However, the silence of the Cupertino-based company with regards to the capabilities and specs of its upcoming products has forced many to rely on rumors and online speculations.

In the case of the iPad Pro 2, there have been speculations that it will be powered by the A10X processor which is also rumored as the processor for the upcoming iPhone 7. However, there is some controversy surrounding the rumored use of an A10X processor with the iPhone 7, according to an earlier iTech Post report.

The rumored addition of the lightning port is quite possible since it's a standard feature in many Apple products. The iPad Pro 2 is also rumored to have a True Tone display and improved camera capabilities, like the iPhone 7.

Meanwhile, Apple is busy promoting the current iPad Pro model. The tech company is currently offering discounts of up to 15 percent. This means that an iPad Pro with 32 GB of storage can be bought for around $679 instead of the old price of $799. People have speculated that Apple's iPad Pro clearance sale is the fastest way to get rid of the old model to make way for the new one.

Interestingly, Apple has touted the iPad Pro as a replacement for a laptop computer. The company even released a YouTube video which claims that the iPad Pro users can use the device for work and play. However, this notion has been dismissed by some Industry observers, according to Forbes.

The iPad Pro is indeed a versatile mobile device. However, many are not quite ready to give up their laptops for the iPad Pro.
