Fallout 4 PS4 mods were supposed to be released back in June. Unfortunately, when Bethesda released an update, various issues (most of which are unique to Sony's system) surfaced. And until now, there has yet to be a clear window release date. The studio, through Pete Hines, iterated that the entire process is under evaluation.
According to International Business Times, the Maryland-based video game company is yet to reveal any update -- let alone its final release date -- regarding the Fallout 4 PS4 mods. This is primarily due to the fact that Sony is currently evaluating a patch for the aforesaid mods on its console.
But of course, this does not sit well with all Fallout 4 fans using PS4, who have taken to Twitter to show their frustrations. Unfortunately for Hines, he has to bear the bad news until everything is set.
To answer why the company and the rest of the people behind Fallout 4 remain mum, Hines said that he cannot simply "invent news until the evaluation process is over." The event went on to say that until it is done, people will not expect any word from him. So, in a sense, Bethesda has yet to acquire the solution the community needs.
It should be noted that the whole Fallout 4 PS4 mod issue has been in the backseat for a long time. Tech Times reports that it was first announced in May, with the company aiming for a June release. Fortunately for Xbox One owners, they acquired it on time ( by the end of the month of June).
Without a doubt, the Fallout 4 mods on the said console is definitely a very serious problem. Imagine the timeline it has already covered, with everything remaining a mystery. So it is only right for the fans to be very upfront and eager about it.
The Creation Kit 15.4 - a Fallout 4 update released to pave the way for the mods to exist - had three main issues. These are memory issues, performance glitches and the lack of support for the sound files.
