Looks like Fallout 4 fans have lots of interesting things to look forward to. Bethesda is said to be revealing all the buzz about update 1.7, which will arrive via Steam Beta. Among the features it will introduce is an add-on support for upcoming and final DLC called Nuka World. Here is what it is all about.
According to Express, Fallout 4 update 1.7 will be available throughout all platforms -- PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, as of this writing, the studio has yet to unveil an official release date. Nevertheless, given the features it will introduce, it seems to be an interesting patch after all.
First and foremost, Fallout 4 update 1.7 will offer a support feature specifically designed for the forthcoming Nuka World DLC. With that, it is only safe to say that the aforesaid update will arrive prior to the content.
It should be noted that the said Fallout 4 DLC is deemed as the last content for the highly celebrated action role-playing game. It can be purchased at $20 as an add-on, and is slated for a release this month.
Moreover, a new store art type is believed to be introduced for Fallout 4 Workshop settlements. Heck, even players will now have the capability to delete any sorts of add-ons. And this is something that can be done without the burden of uninstallation (PS4 in particular).
Aside from the new features, Fallout 4 update 1.7 also brings a couple of in-game fixes. General optimization and improvements in terms of stability are expected. As for Jun and Marcy Long, they are no longer a requirement once "Sanctuary" is completed, as reported by GottaBeMobile. Vendors, on the other hand, will offer bigger shipments - from Copper to Rubber to Ceramic to Wood to Steel.
Below are some of the Fallout 4 update 1.7 fixes to date.
- Improvements to accuracy and control with picking up and placing objects (not Workshop mode)
- Grenades and molotov cocktails can now be used with the Junk Mortar (Contraptions)
- Fixed issue with companions unequipping clothing when fast traveling with player
- Fixed an issue with player animations not loading properly after reloading a saved game
