PS4 Games August 2016 Release Includes 'Battlefield,' 'Bound,' 'Adventure Capitalist' And More

One of the great things about the current gaming practices is the ease at which players can get their hands on new games. Because PlayStation 4 games can now be bought digitally, there is a shorter period from the release of the title and actual playtime. Even more so, is the sheer amount of games that are within reach.

Below is a list of titles coming out for the PS4 this August 2016.

"Battleship"

According to the International Business Times, ten new games are digitally launching for the PlayStation 4 and will be available starting August 16, 2016. One game that players have been itching to get their hands on is "Battleship," which is part of the franchise of the same name.

"Battleship" takes the classic elements from the series and adds in an interactive 3D board to make things more modern. In addition, there will be two modes to choose from. Players can opt for Classic Mode, where they will experience all the aspects that make it a "Battleship" title. There is also Clash at Sea, which is new to the franchise.

"Bound"

Another of the more anticipated games is "Bound," which boasts a beautiful story to tell. It follows the mysterious life of a ballerina and how dance helps her unravel her unknown childhood. The beauty of the game and its story unfolds from the abundance of color, imagery, metaphor and music.

Players need to control the ballerina through different dance pieces and obstacles amidst the aesthetic distractions, in order for her to unravel her past. What makes it more interesting is the promise of an unknown world beneath the surface of the game's story, which has both monsters and puzzles for more gaming time.

"Adventure Capitalist"

"Adventure Capitalist," on the other hand is, theoretically, a simpler game. Players begin with a humble lemonade stand. After which, gamers need to keep pushing forward in order to expand the business. This comes in the form of investments, cash handling and more.

Other Games

In a blogpost, Playstation confirms that "Doodle Devil," "Dungeon Punks, "F1 2016," "Grow Up!," "The Huntsman: Winter's Curse," "Inversus" and "Solbrain Knight of Darkness" will also be available for digital purchase beginning August 16, 2016 as well.
