KGI Leaks iPhone 7's Top-Of-The-Line Features 2 Days Before Launch

Apple's September 7 event is just a couple of days away, yet another big-time leak came out about the new Apple flagship. KGI recently reported that the new iPhone 7 devices will indeed come as previously described in rumors.

iPhone 7 Specs, Body

According to KGI's weekend report, the new iPhones will certainly come with an iPhone 6S-inspired design and tweaked antennas. Additionally, the iPhone 7 devices would also see improvements in its speaker systems and Touch sensors. Waterproofing is also on the table.

iPhone 7 Specs, Colors

Furthermore, it was also said that the new batch of iPhones will add two new colors to its set which would be the dark black and piano black. And speaking of colors, the space grey variant will now be phased out. Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI says that the new iPhones will be available in five colors, with the piano black color only available in the most high-end iPhone 7 variant.

iPhone 7 Specs, Internals

The iPhone 7 devices will also be getting bigger screen sizes and improved visual features. It was reported that the phones may have the same visuals as the iPad Pro 9.7. Internal specs include Apple's A10 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz which is a very big improvement from the current A9 chip.

As for the storage, the new iPhone 7 devices are said to have a minimum of 32 GB storage while phasing out the 64 GB storage variant. Other storage variants would be 128 GB and 256 GB. Furthermore, the more expensive iPhone 7 variant will have a bigger RAM of 3 GB, while the lower model will have 2 GB RAM.

iPhone 7 Specs, Cameras

All of this are on top of the boost in the device's camera, called the dual camera system.
The boost in the iPhone 7's dual camera system will allow the phone to do optical zooming and enable light field cam applications. 12 MP cameras are also expected on the iPhones alongside improved flash and additional number of LEDs.

iPhone 7 Specs, Accessories

According to KGI, the new iPhone 7 devices will each come with Lightning EarPods and an adapter for Lighting-to-Headphone connection to compensate for the devices' lack of the typical 3.5 mm jack. This supports the year long rumor saying that the company is sacrificing the 3.5 mm jack to alter the phones' design.

iPhone 7 Announcement Date

All these will be clarified by Apple itself on September 7. Rumors about the specific variants that are coming would finally be clear. People can finally determine if it is a Pro, a Plus, or both that is coming with the iPhone 7. Pre orders can start at September 9 and release can start a week later, according to previous rumors.
