As every single day passes by, the Red Dead Redemption 2 hype continues to snowball. In fact, speculations after speculations have surfaced, as fans continue to hope for the title to become a reality. While Rockstar has been good at playing the silent game, there are new rumors about the new installment being unveiled within the week.
The talks about Red Dead Redemption 2 started way back before Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) happened. In fact, despite its no-show at the aforesaid event, there are still who believe that Rockstar might eventually unleash it. But of course, the exact date remains a mystery.
Nevertheless, as reported by GameReactor, there is a possibility that the studio will announce Red Dead Redemption 2 this week. Sure, this could be taken as a grain of salt -- after all, the developers have yet to confirm anything. However, it's actually very likely, given the fact that the company is set to unveil new projects at the upcoming PlayStation Meeting.
The aforementioned meeting is slated to commence on September 7 at New York, and it is when and where Red Dead Redemption 2 will be revealed. Just previously, Take-Two Initiative, parent company of Rockstar, mentioned about new games that they're currently working. Although they have not opted to reveal the titles, one is believed to be RDR2.
According to other reports, Red Dead Redemption 2 was supposed to be part of the presentation at E3. However, in one way or another, Rockstar resorted not to do so. Besides, they're a studio known to surprise fans.
As of this writing, any possible features about Red Dead Redemption 2 remain unknown. Nonetheless, as reported here previously at iTech Post, it's said to feature a massive storyline and a brand new map. Furthermore, there are also talks about the game being a PS4 Neo exclusive (though most fans believe it won't be).
In related Red Dead Redemption 2 news, the first title is set to acquire a remaster, as reported by VG247. It is said to be made available across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The release date, though, is still unknown, but Rockstar is believed to be working on it already.
