DICE, creator of the Battlefield series, has renowned the game's leading multiplayer experience by providing a much bigger and inclusive interpretation on virtual warfare. From Jeeps to tanks to planes, they have been a huge part of the awesome experience. The spectrum of vehicles hasn't altered in yet come Battlefield 1 but there is this big difference. Getting inside the cockpits of World War I's classic flying engines is their current whole new monstrous war experience to date.
At first, it may require getting used-to as you get being shot down easily. Once mastered, your team will be assured air superiority, Inverse.com reports.
Here are some flying tips that would eventually get you to dominate the skies in Battlefield 1.
Choose to Spawn into a plane
In Battlefield, if you die you get to choose a respawn point. Spawning inside the plane does not only give you the right to pilot it, it also gives you the planes load out, including the ability to repair during mid-flight.
Fight fire with fire
If you are repeatedly put down by nasty enemy planes, look for an air-to-air vehicle to settle the score.
Bomber is your friend
The bomber should be devastating to enemies if you can pilot it steadily and avoid anything that comes at you. The bomber may be sluggish so you need cooperation from a gunner when doing this. Once teamed up, you can now provide great cover from your infantry friends down below.
The attack plane can be used as weapon for mass murder
Attack planes may only have basic offense weapons but it is still an all-around killer, from air, to land, to sea enemies, it provides equal damage. Just use the machine gun properly, spray and pray is a no no.
Be aware of your surroundings
Of course, if you plan to fly a WWI plane and murder some people, it is essential to familiarize the killing fields like the back of your hand. This is a great advantage since you will know where to do a sneak attack, bottleneck opponent, or hide for some time.
Don't be a sitting duck
Never let your enemy put you in their cross hairs, confuse them if you have to. Keep your enemies guessing, do barrel rolls, unpredictable flight paths, something crazy. Just don't be a sitting duck.
Upgrade your planes loadout
There are plenty of awesome loadouts available once you have enough war bonds. Don't forget to check them every now and then to plan your budget. They are also relatively cheap. Plane loadouts vary per every plane version, take note of this. Tank buster - put this on your wish list, you'll thank us later.
Plan your shots, not shoot directly
This is WWI, weapons here are primitive, there aren't any laser guidance whatsoever. When firing at something time it properly, move it some notch forward in a sense that you need that enemy of yours to 'catch' that bullet. Shoot where your enemy will be, not where they are currently. This needs a lot of practice.
Rotation of duties
Be nice to your Battlefield friends and take turns on who pilots and who does the gunner's shooting rounds. It is also a good cause for socialization.
Be considerate to your Gunner
If you have a gunner on board, always be polite and position the plane properly so he can shoot off enemies without dropping a sweat.
The eject button is also your friend
Keep in mind your HP level so that you can time properly when to pull an eject procedure. This is crucial in old-school war as damaged planes can still fight till its last breath, just don't go down with it.
