iOS 10 Release Snubbed As Android 7.0 Nougat Takes All The Attention With Its Split Screen Feature

Every year, Apple releases its latest iPhone model, iOS version and everything that pretty much has something to do with small gadgets making things possible for its consumers. While Apple fans rave about the new iPhone 7's features and the convenience that iOS 10 has surprised them with, Android 7.0 Nougat users could care less.

The world has been divided by two types of people in this world, those that love Apple and those that prefer Android. Even though consumers constantly debate about which phone or operating system is better, Android 7.0 Nougat extended its arms to Apple as they currently work on the possibility that the Android 7.0 Nougat can be compatible with iPhones, too.

Since the iOS 10 Update has been released and Apple is definitely making a great case with its newest flagship, the iPhone 7 and its most updated operating system - the iOS 10. Packed with the newest features and functionalities, Android 7.0 Nougat users snubbed the iOS 10 update because Android also brought them exciting features of their own, Headlines and Global News reports.

iOS 10 Update Snubbed For Android 7.0 Nougat Doze Mode Feature

The battery life is longer with the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, but it was recently revealed that with the help of Android 7.0 Nougat - battery on the Android phones were redesigned to reduce its usage so it can last longer thanks to the improved Doze Mode. The Doze Mode seems to have initiative now compared to the first time it was released along with Android Marshmallow.

As soon as our phone turns off or goes to sleep when we lock it, the Doze Mode immediately activates. Once activated, it will still continue to function even when you use it.

Android 7.0 Nougat Split Screen Feature

Android 7.0 Nougat's split screen feature is the very definition of multitasking at its finest. Android users can now open 2 apps on the same screen by holding down the square button for overview which can be found at the bottom right, this move will help the user to select another app to be added to the screen and voila! You can do 2 things at once.

Android 7.0 Nougat Data Saver

This feature is fairly easy and self-explanatory. According to Android Central, using the data saver function, users can now set which apps will have access to data even when the phone is on sleep mode. This way, it just doesn't help you with saving data, it also helps you save battery at the same time.

Android has proven itself to be a strong competitor for Apple. Yet, even if both tech giants battle it out every year to find out who is the best among them all - the answer still lies within the hands of the consumers.
