LG V20 is LG's latest flagship following the LG V10. The V10 made headlines last year for its unique secondary display and powerhouse specs. For this year's release, LG kept up with expectations and designed the LG V20 to be an improved version of the V10, instead of trying new things and changing things that made the predecessor successful.
LG V20 Specs
At a glance, the LG V20 sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with 513 pixels per inch resolution. Its secondary display is 2.2 inches in size with 160p resolution. The phone is made of aluminum alloy and the device is shock resistant. LG V20's internal specs include a Snapdragon 820 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, 200GB capacity microSD slot, and Android 7.0 Nougat.
LG V20 cameras are just as good as expected. It has a dual 16 MP/8 MP rear camera with OIS, autofocus, LED flash, and SteadyRecord 2.0 features. Its front camera, on the other hand, is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor. For the device's battery, it is 3200 mAh in size, removable, and is QuickCharge 3.0-enabled. Furthermore, the device has a fingerprint sensor.
LG V20 Review
According to GSMarena's LG V20 hands-on review, the phone is inspired by the LG G5, at least for its design. The LG V20 is also described as a tough phone, but overall good-looking. Its display is quite above ordinary too as it's got great contrast, high-quality resolution, and a really hard to beat 513 pixels per inch density. In the game of LG V20 versus other smartphones, the LG flagship can seamlessly intimidate the others with its superb display. Even the iPhone 7 Plus is too far away from the V20 with its 401 PPI.
Furthermore, the LG V20 is considerably lighter than its predecessor. Its front and back cameras didn't disappoint as well. In fact, the flagship device improved a lot from its previous model. The cameras' stabilization are now better than before and the audios are high quality too.
LG V20 Release
The LG V20 has finally been announced after months of rumors going around about it. However, the release isn't certain yet, although expectations suggest a September 2016 release. So fans are probably just days away from seeing the LG V20 on sale. However, for the LG V20's price, the only thing certain is that it won't be too far away from its predecessor's release price of $700.
