It looks like fans of the TV show "Lucifer" might have to wait a little bit longer as there is going to be a delay in the airing of episode 2, but they can all thank the high heavens (or hell?) for spoilers to keep us at bay.
The episode which will have a new airdate of October 3, Monday at 9:00PM ET/PT will have to give way to something just as fiery and tension filled as the TV show; the presidential debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.
So fans will have to make do with some spoilers circulating around the internet. So here they are:
The episode will be called "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire" and will revolve around good old Lucifer enlisting the aid of Maze to keep an eye on his mother.
According to a source, the official synopsis of episode 2 is:
"When Lucifer's mother, Charlotte, turns up at the scene of a grizzly murder pleading innocence, Lucifer is hesitant to believe her tale. Not wanting to leave her on her own, he instructs Maze to babysit her - and not to torture her, allowing him to investigate the case with Chloe in the all-new "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire" episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, Oct. 3"
To those who have not yet seen the first episode be warned as the next words contains spoilers.
Fans of the show might remember episode 1 of season 2, titled "Everything's coming up Lucifer" as the titular character and his paranoia about his mother's escape. It also marks the return of the character Maze as well as Dr. Martin. It ends with his mother showing up and passing out into his arms.
Now that is an absolute doozy, and it looks like episode 2 will pick up right after that. Here is to an informative debate and an exciting episode when "Lucifer" returns to our TV screens.
