The Los Angeles Lakers are rumored to be trading D'Angelo Russell in exchange of Greg Monroe, Jabari Parker of the Milwaukee Bucks. On the other hand, the Bucks also seem to be eyeing Philadelphia 76ers' Nerlens Noel as teams continue to strengthen their benches for the upcoming NBA season.
The Los Angeles Lakers lost big time as Kobe Bryant decided to leave NBA for good and retire. The former NBA Hall of Famer is now starting up his own business.
WIth the team trying to build up their roster for the 2016-2017 season, recent NBA trade rumors suggest that the Lakers are trying to trade Russell to the Milwaukee Bucks for center and power forward Monroe and forward Parker.
However, other reports opposed this rumor due to salary restrictions in NBA trade. Monroe and Parker's salary totals to $22.5 million combined for the next NBA season. On the other hand, Russell, who is just in his second year, will receive only $5.3 million. Obviously, the figures do not match. It was also previously reported that the Los Angeles Lakers made a statement that they would not let go Russell and Julius Randle as they are vital to the new team.
On the other hand, NBA trade rumors are also circulating that Nerlens Noel of the Philadelphia 76ers might go to the Milwaukee Bucks, which is in need of a good center. Noel has previously expressed his desire to leave the team, according to reports.
"I feel like it definitely needs to be figured out," Noel said to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
On the other hand, SB Nation said in a blog, "I think at the end of the day, again, you have three starting-caliber centers. And it's just not going to work to anybody's advantage having that on the same team. That's how I'm looking at it. I'm not opposed to anything, but things need to be situated."
