It has come as no surprise that "The Flash" season three is now more intrigued by the audience as it will feature an entirely different storyline in the Flashpoint Universe.
"The Flash" Maintains Number Of Viewers, Expected To Stay In Upcoming Season 3
Based on some reports, "The Flash" has maintained their millions of viewers during their nightly timeslot and the number has not decreased in the past two seasons that the series has aired. It has been speculated that there is no way the numbers will decrease in the upcoming season, especially now that they will be featuring a different world and same cast, playing different characters.
This was led by the event when Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) changed the timeline by saving his mother from dying when he was a kid. The effect of this altered timeline shall then be recognized as the season three of "The Flash" progresses.
Harrison Wells Of "The Flash" Will Not Be In Season 3 Premiere Next Week
One of the fans' favourite character on "The Flash" is Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) who has played a villain in the first season and an ally in the second season. His great humor and wit mixed with intense seriousness in the series has led the fans to love his character so much.
However, much to the fans dismay, it has been alleged that he will not be appearing in the season three premiere of "The Flash." He will definitely be missed by the fans, but there could be a valid reason to his absence in the upcoming episode.
He still remains to be a series regular in the upcoming season three of "The Flash" even though he will not appear in the first episode. Perhaps, due to the changes that Barry made in the timeline, his character won't be known until later on. Regardless, the fans' favourite Harrison Wells will be back in the upcoming season and they will need to watch out for his new character this season and how he will help Barry in his daily struggles as The Flash.
"The Flash" will return for season three in a few days, on Tuesday, October 4. Watch the extended trailer below:
