Uber has just announced a new $100 subscription plan that will give its passengers unlimited ride. However, only one city is still eligible for the new subscription plan as for now.
In celebration of Uber Plus program hitting the streets of New York City for the first time, Uber is giving away unlimited ride for two weeks for just $100. Aside from two-week subscription, Uber riders can also take also take advantage of the month-long unlimited ride plan for $200 only.
All rides must begin and end in the borough, while it works below 125th Street in Manhattan. The plan is only available in UberPOOL, or trips shared with random passengers.
The $100 two-week plan starts on Oct. 1 and will end on the 14th while the $200 month-long plan will continue the unlimited ride for the rest of the month.
Despite that, every ride should not cost beyond $20; otherwise, the passenger has to pay the go-over amount.
Early this month, the online transport network company released different flat rate plans in Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Miami and San Diego. At the moment, these plans however are already inactive in Seattle and Miami.
Even so, the pricing would still change in October.

Uber's Self-Flying Drone Taxis
In another news, the multinational company is reportedly working on a transportation that would totally end the city traffic congestion problem.
According to a report from Telegraph U.K., Uber is planning to venture on "technology that would allow airborne passenger drones to fly its users short distances around cities."
Uber's head of product Jeff Holden said that the taxi-hailing app company is currently looking into "vertical takeoff and landing" technology.
Targeted to be around after 10 years, the adoption value of this self-flying drone taxi has not been known yet.
Just last August, Uber tested a self-driving car in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
