It is not yet the end for Craig Sweeny’s “Limitless.”
Despite CBS’ cancellation of the series, hope flickers as Netflix is highly encouraged to pick up the show.
A report noted Sweeny’s announcement last month that “Limitless” has been cancelled after its first season run due to its poor ratings and its lack of ability to relate with the viewers. It was also mentioned that producer and recurring cast member Bradley Cooper (Eddie) was presumed of negotiating the airing of the science fiction to other networks.
The giant streaming company, Netflix has been linked in the controversy due to its strong ability of picking up the show. The company is famous for taking shows that were cancelled by other networks.
Speculations revealed that the second season of “Limitless” would only be possible if Netflix would grant the request of the viewers. In addition, subscribers of the said firm who happens to be followers of the series are reported to withdraw their subscription if it will not pick up the Jake McDorman – led program.
While the supporters of “Limitless” eagerly wait for the official statements of Cooper and Netflix on the mentioned issues, an unconfirmed storyline of season 2 has been making rounds in the web.
“So, we’re going to make some changes to the show…, We do find a way for it to be Brian taking the NZT working with Rebecca and Boyle and a couple new members on the team, solving crimes and having fun a week-to-week basis.”
Did the showrunner just disclose the alleged plot? A twist will clear the confusions of the show’s supporters and will put rumors to rest.
Take a look on Sweeny’s most recent tweets that indicate the final conclusion of the show.
There it is. Saddening and disappointing but it’s time to let go of Brian’s top secret. Would that be okay?
