'Limitless' Season 2 Latest News & Updates: Netflix Drops Show; What Each Cast Member Is Up To Now

Despite the petition made by the avid fans of the TV series "Limitless," the show will not be renewed for its second season. Although the fans are very hopeful on the possibility, this was doomed impossible just recently.

"Limitless" is an American TV series that originally aired on CBS from 2015-2016. Their first season was then later aired on Netflix just this month. The show then garnered more viewers who even petitioned for the show to be renewed for the second season.

The petition was, however, unsuccessful. "Limitless" head writer and executive producer Craig Sweeney confirmed that the show will not be renewed for season two. He took to his twitter account to answer the questions of the fans with regards to their petition.

According to Parent Herald, CBS decided to not forego with the series and no other network also picked it up. Contradictory to reports that one of the casts will be replaced, the show was simply just cancelled.

What is now up with the cast of "Limitless?"

Jake Mcdorman

Jake played the role of Brian Finch. He is now signed up to do a film with Paul Rudd. The production is already taking place in Mexico, as reported by Deadline and the film is entitled "Ideal Home." It is a dramedy, directed by Andrew Fleming.
