"Daredevil" has just been confirmed to be renewed for season three; however the fans of the series will have to wait a little longer since the new season will premiere in 2018. Despite the long wait, there have already been a few details teased.
"Daredevil" Season 3 To Not Air Until 2018?
During the San Diego Comic Con this year, "Daredevil" has been confirmed to see the light for their third season but the release date has not yet been announced. However there have been speculations that the release won't be until year 2018. Nevertheless, the fans are still highly anticipating its return.
According to reports, the release of "Daredevil" season three is awaiting for the other Marvel series on Netflix to wrap things up, "The Defenders" which is about to start their production before the year ends, and is set to be released sometime next year.
The original casts from the second season are set to return in the upcoming season three, including the existing antagonists of the series. There are still recurring roles from Jessica Jones and Luke Cage despite each having shows of their own as well.
Bullseye To Join The Storyline In Upcoming "Daredevil" Season 3 On Netflix
As for the upcoming enemy to join the series in "Daredevil" season three, there have been reports that Bullseye will be part of the upcoming season. The star of the show, Charlie Cox recently gave out a few teasers to the fans about Bullseye's appearance in the upcoming season. According to the actor, he cannot imagine the series to go on as intended without putting Bullseye in the storyline.
He believes that having Bullseye in the show, just as he was in the comic books, will definitely be great for the plot of the "Daredevil" season three. His history with Karen Page shall better be explained once the show returns for their new season. One of the showrunners, Doug Petrie reportedly agreed with the actor on his statement about Bullseye in the series.
The wait for "Daredevil" season three is going to be longer than what was expected but will surely bring the same kind of thrill and adventure to the show.
