It's no secret that fans have been hoping for Red Dead Redemption 2 to happen. Unfortunately, Rockstar Games isn't quick to give in, remaining mum about anything related to the game. Good thing, though, there are speculations. Apart from a supposed online multiplayer feature, new map landmarks are revealed to be introduced in the title.
The rumors about Red Dead Redemption 2 featuring a brand new multiplayer feature rooted from the official Twitter account of Rockstar Games' Careers. In a tweet, the studio announced that they're looking for a person interested in the Operations Project Manager position. The latter is said to join the company's Online Services Operations team, one that is located in San Diego, California.
The aforementioned position is synonymous to working with the team in managing the whole project lifecycle of multiple initiatives, something that could refer to Red Dead Redemption 2. His area of works will cover conception, implementation and deployments (in various states), among others. He will also be responsible in the testing phase so as to ensure that all of the studio's game services are available and functioning well enough.
While it didn't specify what sort of franchise the manager will be working at, fans believe that it's all about Rockstar adding an online multiplayer feature to Red Dead Redemption 2. The latter, in one way or another, could be similar to what the studio did to GTA Online and GTA 5.
Another Red Dead Redemption 2 rumor worth mentioning is the landmarks, which have been named, as reported by Tech Radar. This was mined from an in-depth analysis (conducted by fans). It shows a city called Kahuta, which is located in Pakistan. Also, another city in the list is the Roanoke Valley, an area identical to the real-life location of the Native American tribe.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, there are chances that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be unleased anytime next year. In fact, it's believed to sport a new title -- one that is completely different. But as long as Rockstar doesn't confirm these talks, they should remain as a grain of salt.
