The newest and best smartphone Samsung released this year has been the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The problem is that their first release of the Galaxy Note 7 has been recalled. This is because of the exploding problem. A lot of users of the Galaxy Note 7 has expressed their disappointment and proof of the exploding smartphones. Therefore, Samsung recalled all of their first releases and promised to replace a better Galaxy Note 7.
It seems Samsung is having additional problems with the recent event that happened with their upgraded Galaxy Note 7. On Thursday, October 6, a Galaxy Note 7 that has been released caught fire on an airplane. This past week, similar cases have surfaced online. Samsung was aware of these events but has been nothing but silent regarding the matter.
Exploding Galaxy Note 7 Cases
On the early morning of Tuesday in Nicholasville, Kentucky, Michael Klering woke up to find that his replacement Galaxy 7 has caught fire and filled his bedroom with black smoke. Klering noted that a Samsung representative contacted him and asked if they could take possession of the damaged phone. He did not consent but allowed the company to x-ray the device.
This incident was not disclosed and the public wasn't warned of the possible danger by Samsung. They did not even take action publicly. On Friday that same week, a Galaxy Note 7 that had been replaced on September 21st caught fire. The 13-year-old girl who was holding the device told the local news that she had a "weird burning sensation".
In response the Thursday's and Friday's incidents, Samsung has issued statements saying that investigations are being conducted and that their highest priority is customer safety but as far as we know, this is not true. For all users of Galaxy Note 7, it is a much better choice to have it refunded or exchanged for safety reasons.
