'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Extended Teaser Released: Stefan Might Be Too Late In Trying To Save Damon And Enzo

The upcoming eighth and final season of "The Vampire Diaries" has been highly anticipated by the fans that are both sad and excited to say goodbye to their favorite vampires. Just recently, an extended trailer for the season eight premiere was just released.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Extended Trailer Features Damon And Enzo Worse Than Anticipated

In the recently released extended trailer for "The Vampire Diaries" season eight, it features Stefan and the rest of his friends in a quest to save Damon and Enzo from their evil ways. However, it features Damon telling his brother that it is already too late for them and that they can no longer be saved. He says this along with his evil smirk, saying "This is the beginning of the end."

However, Enzo doesn't seem to share Damon's sentiments in his evil ways. It looks like the latter is definitely enjoying what they're doing while Enzo, on the other hand, is desperate to get out of the situation. He asks Damon how many more bodies he needs to kill before he realizes he no longer needs them.

Stefan, Bonnie, and Caroline will obviously not give up in trying to save their friends. Bonnie, despite her issues with Damon and Enzo, is still more than willing to help them so that they will stop their killing spree and avoid hurting innocent victims. Two weeks away from the season premiere of "The Vampire Diaries" and it looks like the story just gets more interesting than ever.

"The Vampire Diaries" To End With Grace And In The Way It Was Intended To

It has been previously confirmed that the final season of "The Vampire Diaries" will be the darkest of them all. The upcoming season will also be the best, given that it will already be their series finale. The producers of the show also send out their gratitude to the network that their show has lasted this long and they do not need to end abruptly or they did not end up being canceled. Instead, they were able to end the series on their own terms and their own time.

There is still no telling to Nina Dobrev's return in the series. However, the fans have definitely been more hopeful than they have been. It doesn't even matter if Nina comes back as Elena or Katherine, just as long as she gets to give closure to her characters.

"The Vampire Diaries" season eight will return on October 21, 2016.
