Bandai Namco has been busy at work with the improvements in Tekken 7's console port. A new playable character has been added to the roster, Miguel, whose tale remained unresolved in Tekken 6. Miguel is adequately described as hot blooded and he doesn't have a specific fighting style.
Tekken 7 Console Port
Tekken is a popular arcade game which would now have a console port version. Since the game is mainly arcade based, Bandai Namco, the company behind popular console games including Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, has been working on doing a home release to make it more accessible to fans around the world. The characters in the upcoming game are all based on the ones in the original arcade game.
Based on reports, the plot of Tekken 7 would center on "vengeance and redemption." Other characters that are confirmed to appear in the game include Akuma from Street Fighters, Alisa, Heihachi, Josie, Law, Lucky Chloe, and Shaheen.
New Playable Character
Bandai Namco made an announcement that Tekken 7 would have an additional playable character, Miguel Caballero Rojo. Miguel appears to be the regular thug who beats up people casually. However, if there's a character that would fit the plot for the latest Tekken installment, Fated Retribution, it would be Miguel who vowed to avenge his sister who was killed during her wedding day by an airstrike ordered by Mishima Zaibatsu. With his thirst for vengeance against the Mishima clan and his heavy-handed fighting, he is a street smart fighter who can hold his own in street brawls. His addition in Tekken 7 is also fitting since he was a likable character in Tekken 6.
Other notable characters that would make an appearance in Tekken 7 include Master Raven, Nina, Lee Chaolan and his alter ego Violet.
There's no specific date for the release of the Tekken 7 console port. However, reports suggest that it will be scheduled for an early release in 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
