Your Overwatch Mercy Request Has Been Granted: 'My Servants Never Die'

The Overwatch Halloween Terror event has introduced a couple of interesting things -- one of which is Mercy's witch skin. While she looks stunning in her new appearance, her war cry is still the same. This caught the attention of the community, clamoring for Blizzard to put a new one. Fortunately, the studio is generous enough to do so.

According to GameSpot, Overwatch players have been hoping for Mercy's voice line ("Heroes Never Die") -- whenever she uses that resurrection skill of hers -- to be replaced. The request was to use the one she has in the Junkenstein Brawl -- "My Servants Never Die," that is. Well, in a sense, it's quite applicable to her new skin.

It's worth noting that most of these requests can be seen as a detailed, lengthy thread in the Overwatch forums. Interestingly, Jeff Kaplan himself went to respond, saying "OK." Heck, he even pointed out that such will be happen "ETA mid-November."

That's it -- that was the entire message the Overwatch community got from Kaplan. And yes, it's going to happen. He himself confirmed it. This is definitely good news for the ever-growing player pool.

It remains a mystery, however, if when exactly the Overwatch change will happen in mid-November. It's also unclear if it'll be applied to all platforms. It should be noted, though, that updates on consoles usually come after the developers do it in PC.

In related Overwatch news, Blizzard has also shed some light on the rumors regarding the Easter Eggs in Junkenstein's crows. In the past few days, players observed that whenever these harmless birds are shot, they tend to spawn squawks. They believe that it means a thing or two. Unfortunately, as per the studio, it doesn't mean anything special. It's more of a decoration of sort.
