‘Arrow’ Season 5, Episode 3 Spoilers & Updates: Wild Dog In Danger; Det. Malone Is Prometheus? No More Olicity This Season

"Arrow" season 5, episode 3 spoilers tease Wild Dog to rebel against Green Arrow's order not to go on field as he along with the new recruits are not yet ready to fight, while Det. Malone seems to be hiding an identity. The showrunner, meanwhile, revealed that it's the end of Oliver and Felicity (Olicity), at least for this season.

Wild Dog Rebels

Spoilers say fans will see Team Arrow this week in disarray. For one, new recruit Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) rebels against Oliver (Stephen Amell) by not following his instruction to not go on field for a mission. Instead, Wild Dog is hell-bent to make his way to Garret (Cody Rhodes), a drug syndicate who has been causing too much distress among residents in Star City. Knowing Wild Dog's novice skills, Green Arrow sets out to help him fight against Garret.

Det. Malone Is Prometheus?

"Arrow" season 5 is on again for a big revelation soon since Det. Malone (Tyler Ritter), Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) boyfriend, has been hiding a big monster inside him. According to a report, Det. Malone is Prometheus himself, the evil vigilante who wants to stop Green Arrow from saving the city. However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding this speculation, and hints are not yet available with the show just on its second episode yet.

It is further speculated that Det. Malone knows that Oliver is Green Arrow. If all these strings of speculations are true after all, then it could be that Det. Malone is not really into Felicity. Thus, he is only using her to get back to Oliver.

The End For Olicity

Despite this, "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle stressed that it's the end of Olicity, at least for this season. In her statement to TV Guide, she said: "We're not necessarily going to see them reconcile this season. I think there will always be lingering feelings between these two."

"Arrow" season 5 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
