"The Flash" season 3, episode 5 spoilers have Caitlin Snow morphed into someone vicious, while Susan Walters cast as Caitlin's mom Dr. Tannhauser will appear in the episode for the time. Will she be able to solve the mystery behind Caitlin's growing meta-human power?
On the Oct. 18 episode of "The Flash" season 3 titled "Monster," Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) transforms into a more rancorous being as her meta-human ability grows without anyone having the ability to explain what has happened to her. Hence, Caitlin visits her mom, Dr. Tannhauser, in hopes of finding some answers to explain the phenomenon. Dr. Tannhauser herself is a well-known biomedical scientist.
Caitlin Is Turning Into Killer Frost
Unfortunately, Caitlin's visit ends up in chaos after she was enraged by how the process of knowing her tumultuous condition is being done. The whole attempt to know Caitlin's state turns out to be a huge disaster. It can be noted that Caitlin and her mom have not been on good terms. In the previous season, Dr. Tannhauser was first known to public by name as the resident bio-engineer at S.T.A.R. Labs who has personally met Killer Frost, the identity Caitlin is slowly turning into, in Earth-2.
Like Dr. Tannhauser's daughter, Killer Frost also has a history of taciturn relationship with her mom. During the shows pre-airing promo, showrunners already described Caitlin as rebellious and ungrateful, and Dr. Tannhauser cold and withholding.
More Screen Time For Dr. Tannhauser
As Dr. Tannhauser finally shows up on "The Flash" season 3, the character is expected to gain more screen time to understand the psychology behind's Caitlin's behavior and how she is turning into a "monster." In fact, "The Flash" producer Todd Helbing disclosed that the real score between Caitlin and Dr. Tannhauser will soon be understood eventually.
What can The Flash/Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) do as he slowly loses an ally? Meanwhile, following the spate of new meta-human assaults in Central City, Barry offers Julian (Tom Felton) to help him find answers to the circumstance.
