Mass Effect: Andromeda's initial details, starting from the story to the early plans for Andromeda Initiative has provided the fans a number of information. The details were announced over at the N7 Day 2016 event, and based from this, the much awaited details on gameplay and other characters like Peebee and the Ryder family.
In Mass Effect: Andromeda, the crew needs to travel 600 years to reach the Andromeda galaxy, and Andromeda Initiative is meant for a one-way trip, with a multi-species effort, yet founded by Jien Garson. A total of five ships are confirmed to make the journey, with four dedicated to transporting one of the four species - Turian, Asari, Salarian or Human. Every four species has a Pathfinder to lead the exploration while the lead ship in Andromeda Initiate is named as Nexus. Also, PeeBee is the Asari in the squad, as confirmed by the game producer Michael Gamble on Twitter.
Mass Effect: Andromeda's Ryder family is customizable, which means the players can change the characteristics of the twins' father, including the sibling they do not want to play as. Alex Ryder is also an N7 - a member of the Human elite forces in the Citadel Space. Although the Ryder twins are said to be untested, both are trained and also younger compared to Shepard during the start of the original Mass Effect.
Meanwhile, Mass Effect: Andromeda will also come with other missions like the Deployed Strike Team task that takes real-time to complete sound, which is the same to Dragon Age: Inquisition's war table task. According to reports, this task is where the players send out resources to fulfil missions in real-time, allowing them to collect resources and keep the areas secure. This appears to sound like the Keep defense system meant for inquisition, but was reportedly cut in the production due to issues of supporting last-gen consoles.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set for release in March 2017 on PS4, Xbox One and the PC. The players in North America can pre-order the game from Best Buy and Amazon, while players in the UK may get the game through GAME, ShopTo and Amazon.
