Grand Theft Auto 5 is slated to feature new cities via GTA Online. Furthermore, cheaters will also be penalized in the game. On the upside, rumor has it that a new storyline will be included in GTA Online as Rockstar reportedly plans to expand the map along with adding new contents by 2020.
Grand Theft Auto 5 Online mode is reportedly going to include four cities with updated features of the San Fierro, Vice City, Las Venturas and Liberty City. The latter is slated to be analogous to New York which had been the main setting in GTA 3, GTA 4 and GTA: Liberty City Stories. On the other hand, Vice City will be similar to Miami as it appeared in GTA: Vice City Stories and is also rumored to appear in GTA 6.
Moreover, Las Venturas and San Fierro are said to be included in GTA: San Andreas which will be Grand Theft Auto V version of Las Vegas and San Francisco. The expansion was originally slated for the story mode of Grand Theft Auto 5 but was allegedly scrapped in favor of GTA Online. These updates have been rumored to be in production since the development of Grand Theft Auto 5.
It should be noted that Rockstar Games has already implemented a new rule against cheaters in GTA Online. The cheating player's character will immediately reset even after the first offence. Furthermore, after the cheater will be banned from playing Grand Theft Auto 5 Online after attempting to cheat again.
Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto 5 is rumored to include full-blown MMO by 2020. The game is said to include a Biker DLC with new bikes, clothes and free roam missions. A Law and Order DLC is also rumored for the game which may include vehicles purchased through activated free roam police missions.
The Grand Theft Auto 5 single player DLC is also said to be replaced with a new Online Map expansion model. In addition a pre order bonus of one million Casino chips in GTA are also rumored for those who pre-order. Rockstar Games is yet to confirm the rumors.
