Pokemon Go's first-ever Halloween event is scheduled to conclude today. Since Niantic announced the event last week, it successfully lured several old Pokemon Go players to play the game again. The event unexpectedly revived the hype of the game after it declined heavily during the past months. It effectively excites players due to the number of bonuses that Niantic has offered. Now with the Halloween event ending, players are now curious what would Niantic's next move be regarding Pokemon Go.
According to the report from Otakukart, the event is scheduled to end on Nov.1, however, it still varies on other time zones. It is highly expected that the Halloween event will officially end by tomorrow morning Pacific Time. The event marks the capability of the game to compete despite its failing userbase. During the Halloween event, players are provided with a little bit of motivation and a chance to shake up Pokemon Go's very one-dimensional day-to-day gameplay.
One potential move that players are expecting that Niantic would consider is the Christmas Event next month. With winter season fast approaching, people are expected to be busy going out on the streets which is a perfect time to play Pokemon Go. There is a great chance that Niantic would be doing a Christmas event for Pokemon Go since almost all game titles are making their own respective versions of the said event. Check out the potential wishlist for Pokemon Go's winter event here.
However, the main problem is that Pokemon Go lacks dynamic on its gameplay. Some players said that after completing the PokeDex, there's nothing else you can do except interacting through gyms which is eventually become boring. In addition, there are several possible additions that Niantic will ponder aside from the speculated winter event. It is possible that Niantic could add the most-awaited multiplayer battle and a new tracker which is expected to arrive next month.
It is also suggested that the developer would also add some vibrancy to the game's gameplay in order for fans to have multiple reasons to be excited. As of now, there are no words from Niantic. However, it would be expected that the company will release some Pokemon Go updates in the following weeks.
