'Monster's Inc' Sequel Features 'Boo' As An Adult

Fans from all over the world are left craving for more of the weird monsters and "Boo" in the hit movie "Monster's Inc." But for its third installment, creators of the show thought that Boo might be a little fit for the corporate headquarters by now. Yes! Boo is now an adult in the third instalment of Monster's Inc. 3.

Monster's Inc. Third Installment To Focus On "Boo" As An Adult

According to Den Of Geek, Pete Docter, the renowned director of "Monster's, Inc." stated in an interview that the third instalment would focus on the time when Boo is already an adult. In the previous sequel, the classic animated film featured Sully, Randall and Mike during their years in monster college. Docter further reiterated that they have intentionally reserved the adulthood of Boo in the upcoming sequel. In an interview, he said:

"You never say never - who knows what will happen? We purposely went with a prequel for Monsters University because we didn't want to answer some of the questions about what happens to Boo, and how does she grow up, and things like that. It would have to be really compelling, which is hopefully the benchmark for all of our sequels, anyway".

"Boo" Has Somewhat Half-Forgotten About Monsters Sully, Randall And Mike

The hit filmmaker also said that Boo may encounter the monsters the same way Peter Pan met Captain Hook.

"Part of that idea was like a Peter Pan-type thing, where [Wendy] had been visited by Peter Pan as a kid and had sort of half-forgotten who he was."

Moviefone stated that, with all rumors that is spreading regarding the non-existence of Monster Inc. Season 3, Disney-Pixar fans should linger on the habit of waiting for bigger suprises. As a matter of fact, other films like "Finding Nemo" took 13 years before it featured another sequel, "Finding Dory." Viewers should never lose hope that Boo might encounter Kitty again real soon.
