The OnePlus 3 has been so much of a success ever since it was released a few months ago. Up to now, OnePlus' 2016 smartphone is still one of the best buys of the year. With that, many of the company's fans are looking forward to what is in store for them for 2017. Basing on OnePlus 3's success, the OnePlus 4 is expected to be the company's best smartphone ever.
OnePlus 4 Release Date And Price
The OnePlus 3 was released June of 2016, GSM Arena reported. With that, the OnePlus 4 is also expected to be release around the same time next year. The first OnePlus was launched April and the OnePlus 2 was launched July. It's clear that the company targets to do a mid-year release for each of its flagship phone.
As for the price, Tech Radar says it could be at around $400. It's not impossible for the company to increase their flagship's price, but there's little chance that the OnePlus 4 will be priced at the same level as the iPhone and Galaxy S devices. If its price does get increased, it still probably won't be higher than $500.
OnePlus 4 Rumored Specs
One thing's for sure, the OnePlus 4 will still be a big-screened phone as the company already confirmed that they won't be making smaller flagships. However, it's still not certain whether or not the company will improve on the display department. There's a good chance that the OnePlus 4 will still stick to a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution as it's one of the best ways to minimize the phone's cost. However, it will still be great news if the company decides that it's time to use a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution on its phone.
As for the other specs of the OnePlus 4, it's easy to predict what improvements the phone could carry. Since the OnePlus 3 boasts of a 6 GB RAM, next year's flagship could come with about 8 GB worth of RAM. It could also carry the most powerful processor at the time of its release which is allegedly the Snapdragon 830. As for the OnePlus 4's battery size, there's little chance that it would go lower than 3000 mAh. Hopefully though, a microSD slot will be included in the OnePlus 4. If not, multiple storage variants will be happy additions for its anticipating buyers.
