Black Friday Tech Deals: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Surface Pro 4 And Chromebook

Black Friday sales will fall on November 25 this year. As the highly anticipated annual event draws closer and closer, more and more retailers are revealing the best deals that they have to offer - and they are hard to ignore. Currently, some of the best deals for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Surface Pro 4 And Chromebook are coming from Costco.

The Xbox One discount bundle, as noted by Tech Times, will be US$50 percent cheaper on Black Friday. The bundle includes a Military Green 1TB Xbox One S, a matching wireless standard controller, and an Xbox One Elite wireless controller. Naturally, the "Battlefield Elite" bundle will come with a copy of "Battlefield 1" Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, which also comes with the "Hellfighter," "Red Baron" and "Arabia" packs.

The PlayStation 4 Black Friday discount also takes US$50 off the original price. The bundle will reportedly include a 500GB PlayStation 4 Slim and two DualShock 4 controllers. It is also estimated to arrive with a copy of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and "Cann Of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

The Intel Core i5 model of the Surface Book from Microsoft is another of the best Cosctco deals this year. The US$250 off discount is enough on its own, but the device might also come bundled with a Surface Dock. While the Surface Book is one of the Redmond-based company's most popular successes, the Surface Dock allows it to be a full-fledged PC.

The Surface Book comes with powered by Intel's Core i5 processor and is partnered up with Intel HD Graphics 520. The device theoretically runs smoothly on 8GB of RAM and has a built-in storage space of 256GB. With a 13.5 inch screen that has 3000 x 2000 pixel resolution, it does weigh a relatively hefty 3.48 pounds. Putting it together with the Surface Dock allows more connectivity options.

USA Today adds that Costco will also have a 14 inch Acer Chromebook bundle up for grabs. At US$65 off, buyers can purchase the notebook. The device has an Intel Celeron N3160 Quad-Core processor and a 1 inch full IPS display. It also has 14 hours of battery life, but only 32GB of internal memory.

This is definitely a low number, but that is because it relies on Google's Chrome operating system, as opposed to Windows or MacOS. What really differentiates the OS from its competitors is that it strips the laptop down to its bare minimum and work with its cloud. It is a different take on a standard device and the Black Friday deals will offer the perfect opportunity to experiment - and Chromebooks are not relatively expensive, to begin with.

The Black Friday sale is always a great way to get hands on those items that you have been itching to get your hands on. The best thing about it, is that it works both ways. If you are a believer of the franchise and are just looking to upgrade, November 25 will be a good opportunity to do so. But if you're only looking to try things out, a significant discount is the best way to experiment without the overwhelming cash-out.
