‘Gotham’ Season 3 News & Spoilers: Poison Ivy Is Back; Penguin Plans To Make Butch Answer For Isabella’s Death To Save Nygmobblepot?

"Gotham" season 3 is becoming quite unpredictable with so much going on. The bromance between Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot and Ed "Riddler" Nygma is one thing that fans were not expecting. Now, there is another major event that could change the Gotham universe - Penguin might send Butch to the chopping block.

"Gotham" Season 3's Nygmobblepot Romance

Among the most controversial plotlines that have been getting much attention in "Gotham" season 3 is the Nygmobblepot romance. Oswald has been sidetracked in his quest for power and at the moment, his sights are set on keeping Ed's attention. In fact, he does not mind eliminating threats like Isabella who would not listen to his warnings.

Ed has been devastated with Isabella's death. Oswald was secretly celebrating his success in eliminating a threat by tampering with Isabella's car brakes and of course, he was there to comfort Ed. While searching for clues on how Isabella died, Ed came up with the conclusion that Butch was the one responsible for Isabella's death. His first instinct was to tell Oswald about what Butch did and without missing a beat, Oswald did not sway Ed from thinking that it was his henchman's doing.

At the moment Oswald and Butch's relationship is not that solid after his henchman tried to implement an elaborate plot to be Oswald's right hand again. However, Ed found out and made him confess to Oswald which caused a rift in their relationship. With Ed's quest for justice and Oswald's current fascination for the Riddler, he might send Butch to his demise or the henchman would have to pay up big time.

Poison Ivy Is Back In "Gotham"

Another surprise for "Gotham" fans is the appearance of Ivy Pepper. The aged up Ivy was quite nosy about the real score between Selina and Bruce. However, she will get Selina involved in a trouble with some goons who want the necklace she stole. With people after them, they had to make their way to Wyne Manor quickly.

"Gotham" season 3 airs every Monday on Fox.
