Pokemon Go Update: What Happens When You Unlock All Medals?

Pokemon Go has applied the Medal System to the game ever since it was released. These achievement medals come with three tiers - bronze, silver and gold wherein the requirements will increase every time it changes tiers. Currently, fans are curious if unlocking all these medals would result to bonuses or not.

According to the report from Otakukart, most games on consoles such as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 award Achievements to their players once they have completed or unlocked all of the game's missions or tasks. However, based on several Pokemon Go trainers, Niantic have not integrated several hidden achievement awards to the game whenever a player completes all the medals listed. As a result, several trainers lack the motivation to complete these medals.

In addition, it seems like these achievement medals listed only serve like a display or just a tracker to monitor your current achievements. Players suggests that Niantic should give some fair amount of awards for every medals unlocked in the game such as Stardusts, PokeBalls, Incense or Lure Module depending on the difficulty of the achievement. The developer might also consider giving some PokeCoins as reward.

Though without these rewards, it is still a great indication of you being a true Pokemon master. However, if Niantic considers adding bonuses and rewards in the future updates, it is recommended to either reset or reward those trainers who had already completed all the achievement medals so it won't be unjust for them. This would also be a great help for some players to get additional resources. Additionally, it is a great reason for players to have the motivation to play and unlock all these medals.

Meanwhile, Pokemon Go also applies the Medal System for capturing Pokemon which offers trainers to increase their chances in capturing Pokemon. In addition, it helps players save more PokeBalls while hunting Pokemon in the wild.
