Evil Morty Is C-137 Rick's Original Morty

Here are the pieces of evidence why Evil Morty is C-137's Rick's original Morty. Back in episode 10 of season 1 titled "Close Rick-Counter of the Rick Kind," fans were transported back to the time when Rick was caressing baby Morty. Since the series kicked off when Rick showed up to the Smiths, there was no full disclosure as to where Rick really came from. It was only implied that Beth had been longing for her dad for so long and she didn't want him away from her after Jerry expressed the idea of sending his father-in-law to the nursing home.

The Compelling Evidence

In support to this theory, Rick has always underestimated Morty and he must be in close relationship to his family in his original timeline. However, he had to set out on a new life leaving Morty for dead. The pieces of evidence? First, it was found out at the end of episode 10 that Evil Rick was actually under control of Evil Morty who framed him for the murders of alternate Ricks and the abduction of alternate Mortys. Assumingly, he had chosen C-137 Rick as the suspect.

Second, Rick shed tears after seeing on the screen a memory of baby Morty which Evil Morty-controlled Rick cut him off saying, "Everyone knows Ricks don't care about Mortys." This led the alternate Mortys to smack down Evil Rick. Evil Morty could have despised Rick after all. Third, there are a lot of ways Evil Morty could be hiding in original Morty. One would be the "hidden" fact that he can actually be confident and competent with what he was doing, only giving in to what Rick thought of him for the sake of keeping his real identity.

Furthermore, the creators haven't been vocal about the fate of Evil Morty - whether or not he could be brought back in. Even so, no theory is impossible for now.
