"General Hospital" might have another cast shakeup right before the holidays. Based on the latest plot spoilers, Carly and Jax's exit from Port Charles might take longer than expected and Sonny's soulmate Brenda will be back to comfort the poor man. Given the current state of things, could this mean that Laura Wright and Ingo Rademacher will be out of the show as Vanessa Marcil enters the world of GH?
"General Hospital" Plot Spoilers
"General Hospital" remains to have a gloomy atmosphere after Morgan Corinthos' death. Carly and Sonny's marriage is on the rocks because Carly blamed Sonny for her son's death. Carly is not alone with the assumption that the mob boss is the one who decided to kill off Morgan as almost everyone in Port Charles does. However, Carly learns that the Jacks brothers are the one after her son's death, not Sonny.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Brenda who is played by Marcil will make a comeback. Given the current events, her return will be timely. After all, no one seems to be taking Sonny's side and she could be Sonny's rock. With Carly running off with her ex-husband, Sonny will not be forgiving about her situation especially when she reveals that she kissed Jax. Thus, Brenda and Sonny reunion might happen after all.
"General Hospital" Cast Rumors
"General Hospital" cast rumors suggest that Wright will be leaving the daytime soap but as it turns out, she just had a short break. At the moment, there is no news whether Rademacher's return to Port Charles will be a permanent one or not. While Carly and Jax, the characters portrayed by Wright and Rademacher, are seen leaving Port Charles, it would be a big loss to have them gone forever. Wright plays one of the fan favorites in GH and based on her interviews, she loves her role as Carly and she has no plans of leaving yet. Meanwhile, Rademacher just reprised his role as Jax and it would be interesting to see how he tries to go between Carly and Sonny.
There is no explicit word on Marcil's return but she hinted on Twitter that she will be back on ABC's soap. Her character Brenda could help move the plot and make Carly realize her mistakes on pinning the blame on Sonny right away. There is no news whether Brenda will be a series regular or if she will be a guest for just a few episodes.
"General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC.
