Actor Robbie Amell, who plays the role of Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm in "The Flash" CW series, talks about the possible return on the show. Despite having been killed twice already throughout the series, there is still a huge possibility that he may return at some point.
Robbie Amell As Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm Likely To Return To CW's "The Flash"
It can be recalled that Robbie Amell's character as Ronnie Raymond is one half of the Firestorm duo, and was killed off during the season one finale. He sacrificed himself to save Central City from being swallowed in by a wormhole that was created. However, he returned during the second season of "The Flash," as his character's doppleganger from Earth 2. Later on, he was then again killed off as he was a villain version of the Ronnie they all know of. Now, there is indeed a possibility that he may return to the series.
According to the actor, Ronnie may have been killed off already but there are still a number of versions of himself in a number of universes. Amell said that he would be open to return to the series, despite his character being killed off constantly. He has had a lot of fun and joy with the cast of "The Flash," it wouldn't be so bad to return. When offered of such opportunity again, he would definitely be open to the idea.
Robbie Amell Open To Playing A Marvel Superhero If Given The Opportunity; Not Tied Up With DC Universe
On the other hand, the actor was also asked about the possibility of playing a role in the Marvel Universe. He has currently been portraying the role of Firestorm in "The Flash," which belongs to the DC Universe. According to him, he has no ties with DC that he only plays the role of a specific hero. He has always been a fan of the Marvel Universe as well, and would love to play a hero there when given the chance. If so, he wouldn't be the first actor to go from being a hero of the DC Universe to becoming a hero in the Marvel Universe, hence Ryan Reynolds from being Green Lantern to Deadpool.
