Pokemon Sun And Moon Top 5 Hardest Totem Pokemon And How To Beat Them

Pokemon Sun and Moon has a special type of monsters called Totem Pokemon which you have to battle in order to complete an island challenge. These special monsters are bigger than others and are covered with a special aura. Here are 5 of the most difficult Totem Pokemon in the game.

Salazzle

A poison and fire type Totem Pokemon that gets a special defense boost at the start of the battle. What makes this Totem Pokemon difficult to catch is its use of "Torment," a move that prevents you from using the same move twice in a row. It also has access to the move "Toxic" and its SOS Pokemon Salandit uses "Poison Gas." They also use Venom Drench which slows down your attack, special attack, and speed stats.

Wishiwashi

A water-type Pokemon which also gets a special defense boost at the beginning of the battle. Wishiwashi is not actually scary but its SOS Pokemon Alomomola, which is equipped with very scary moves like the Helping Hands and Heal Pulse. So if you want to win, kill it first before Wishiwashi.

Lurantis

A pure-grass type Pokemon that gets a speed boost at the beginning of the battle. It is one Pokemon with very lethal moves which include Solar Blade, a move that no Pokemon has ever learned before. Using the Solar Blade, it absorbs the power of the sun in the first move and uses all of it against its enemy on the second move. The damage it can create is not a joke - 125! If you chose Popplio as your starter Pokemon, you better have a good plan before you even attempt it when facing Lurantis.

Kommo-o

A dragon-fighting type Totem Pokemon covered in glittering scales and gets a boost of all its stats at the beginning of battle. According to legend, it uses its scales to fight a darkness that is trying to cover the world. Some of its powerful moves includes the uppercut, which can send its opponent up in the sky, and the Clanging Scales. It also has some powerful SOS Pokemon friends including Hakamo-o and X-Scissor.

Mimikyu

A ghost/fairy type Totem Pokemon which also gets a boost to all its stats at the beginning of the battle. Mimikyu has a new ability called the Disguise Ability which allows it to escape damage from an attack. It also has the ability to call a Haunter and a Gengar, whose attack Shadow Ball which can annihilate any Pokemon.
