The newest expansion to Hearthstone, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, just went live with all 132 new cards. Interesting crime families have also arrived - The Grimy Goons, The Kabal and The Jade Lotus - bringing war to the streets as their truce has completely shattered.
The base game Hearthstone and all its expansions have their fair share of great cards we're all dying to have in our decks and ones we would rather not speak of. Mean Streets of Gadgetzan is no exception. So here's the best five and worst three cards it brings.
Hearthstone: Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan Best Cards
Kazakus is undeniably one of the best cards in the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion that you must have on your deck. The 4 Mana Cost Legendary card allows you to create your own spell provide you don't have duplicates on your deck.
Next, we have Aya Blackpaw with amazingly great stats. This is definitely one to look out for and will potentially give you a lot of headache. The 6 Mana Cost Legendary card triggers both Battlecry and Deathrattle.
Jade Idol is a Common Druid Spell card with 1 Mana Cost, which is interestingly almost always included in Hearthstone players' best list. You can either summon a Jade Golem, which is good, or shuffle three of Jade Idols into your deck, which is better.
The 4 Mana Cost Rare card Dispatch Kodo is also one you would want on your deck. For a Hunter, this card is incredibly buffed up. Its Battlecry, which deals "damage equal to this minion's Attack," can deal four damage on turn four - making it sort of unfair to use.
Don Han'Cho may just be the best in the Grimy Goons Class. The 7 Mana Cost Legendary has a Battlecry that gives a random minion +5/+5. Now imagine all the possibilities with that!
Hearthstone: Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan Worst Cards
Unfortunately, we also have cards we would rather turn to dust. Weasel Tunneler is one of it. Although it forces your opponents' draws to be worse, it messes up your deck, too. I don't think the payoff is good enough for this kind of risk.
Gadgetzan Ferryman is a 2 Mana Cost Rare card that has already garnered a 1.9 rating with 831 votes. I'm actually surprised it didn't receive fewer stars. It has a Combo effect, which is sometimes useful, but in this case, it's not. I feel like I've seen this card before - only, it's worse.
Worgen Greaser looks pretty good at first with high attack, but what's up with that defense? It's one of the easiest cards to deal with. The 4 Mana Cost Common card is just not something you would put on a deck.
Never mind these useless cards, Hearthstone: Mean Streets of Gadgetzan is a well thought-out and well-executed expansion as a whole. I'm currently loving these crime families and I bet you are, too. How about you? Which cards are your must-haves and which cards would you turn to dust?
