Hearthstone: Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan Release Date Confirmed; 132 New Cards Coming On December 1

During the recent live stream, Blizzard revealed the launch on Thursday, Dec. 1 of the newest and fourth expansion of the collectible card game Hearthstone, the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. Players can expect a ton of new cards with exciting features.

Hearthstone Adds New Features

The newest Hearthstone expansion will introduce 132 new cards and three factions, the Grimy Goons, Kabal and Jade Lotus. The crime gangs running Gadgetzan have different factions using cards for their specific focus. The Grimy Goons have cards to buff minions in the players' hand, the Kabal uses potions to clear the board or affect enemy creatures, and the Jade Lotus have stealth cards and golems to work well for rogues or druids.

The Hearthstone expansions have a new board with additional cards and challenges. Blizzard also discussed how Gadgetzan will help Priests in particular.

Pre-Purchase Packs Now

Players can now pre-purchase 50 packs through Battle.net on a discounted price of $50. Regular prices are at $19.99 for 15 packs, $49.99 for 40 packs and $69.99 for 60 packs. Each account can only buy one 50-pack bundle at the discounted price, with a guarantee of at least one rare or better card. However, the packs cannot be opened until Mean Streets of Gadgetzan's launch day on Thursday.

Along with the announcement of Hearthstone: Mean Streets of Gadgetzan's release date, Blizzard also revealed all the cards. Some of the cards that players can expect in their packs are the Piranha Launcher weapon, Lotus Assassin, Kabal Courier, Kabal Talonpriest and more.

Some legendary cards that were revealed include Genzo The Shark; Krul, The Unshackled; Wrathion; and Hobart Grapplhehammer. For the complete list, click here.

Hearthstone's last expansion called One Night in Karazhan was well-received. Fans would have to wait and see if Mean Streets of Gadgetzan will meet expectations.
