A Christmas-themed content update for Clash of Clans will be released by Supercell right after the RED event. Supercell is partnering with Apple and RED Organization, and they led the event which gives players a chance to spend their money in buying gems as well as Hero pack directly from the in-game store. They will also be given a chance to fight against Aids. This event will last until Dec. 6, so the Clash of Clans update for December may be brought by the company anytime soon.
It has always been a Supercell tradition to have the Christmas-themed items be brought as a yearly Clash of Clans update, as reported by Bit Bag. The RED-themed look is a feature that shows the Barbarian King, so there is a possibility that the developer might be adding unique add-ons on these just for the holiday season. It is expected that there will be a snow-filled environment, with lantern decors, and trees.
There were leaked files of the game that reveals the idea of sea-themed creatures coming to Clash of Clans update. Should this be true, players will experience seeing mermaids, ships, and air defense. It can be remembered that the shipwreck leaks were already present during the Halloween event. Supercell has not yet released any confirmation about the said features since they are not yet done with the RED event.
It is possible that there will be more discussions about the other features of the game soon. There were also reports that talked about the virtual reality support of the game which might be added in the near future. However, since Supercell has not yet released any official statement, there is no assurance yet about the confirmation of these reports.
