Warriors’ Draymond Green Lashes Out At NBA For ‘Unnatural Acts’

Draymond Green rips on NBA after receiving a Flagrant 1 following his foot contact with the face of James Harden. The controversial incident happened on Thursday that led to the loss of the Golden State Warriors from the Houston Rockets.

The power forward is not pleased with his penalty.

"I just laugh at it, because it's funny how you can tell me how I get hit and how my body is supposed to react. I didn't know the people in the league office were that smart when it came to your body movement. I'm not sure if they took kinesiology and all this stuff for their positions to kind of tell you how your body is going to react when you get hit at certain positions,” Green aired his side.

Meanwhile, NBA Executive VP of Basketball Operations, Kiki VanDeWeghe, cleared up the "unnatural act rule" saying the league isn't picking on Green. His statements came after Green lashed out in their office and doubting their qualifications of judging and punishing them.

"Rules are discussed and agreed upon at the competition committee meetings consisting of owners, general managers, coaches, player reps and referee representatives. They go through the same procedures for all rule changes,” VanDeWeghe explained.

To recall, the NBA All-Star was suspended in game 5 of the NBA finals 6 months ago due to his unnatural punch at the groin of Cavaliers’ Lebron James. Green, reportedly, had several similar happenings in the course of the postseason that had also been ruled flagrant fouls, the suspension was the result of him exceeding the league's allowed flagrant point total for the playoffs.

With Green’s history of unnatural acts in his playing career, will this result to a trade? Previously, rumors have it that his team is allegedly willing to swap him for a deal with Pelicans’ Anthony Davis. Despite Green’s crucial contributions in the Warriors, it will be easy to let him go due to his numerous controversies.
