'The Last Guardian' is about a young boy and his adventure in solving puzzles and mysteries with his huge friend that looks like a griffin, Trico. The duo will have to work together if they ever want to get out from where they are and be back to the civilization. How to Remove the Spear from the Back of Trico in 'The Last Guardian'
After the first cut scene players watch in the game, they will see different symbols circling the screen, which is seen often throughout the game, and players just have to press any button to stop the symbols and start the game. Once the game has started, players will find themselves in a mysterious place with a huge creature beside him. It looks like a spear has hit Trico and it's up to the player to help him. So the player must investigate the room before riding at Trico's back by pressing the triangle button. This will prompt the player if they wish to remove the spear and this can be done by holding the circle button.
Where to Find Food for Trico in 'The Last Guardian'
Next thing players will see is they have woken up again in the same place with Trico who is hungry. There should be barrels in the room and this is where the player will find the food for the creature. To find it, just look for the switch across the room on the left part of the ruins. Hold the circle on the switch and this should open the gate on the right. And there is the missing barrel with food for Trico.
Now to get the food to Trico, just toss the whole barrel to the creature by pressing the square button. But in order to satisfy Trico's hunger, it must also be fed the remaining two barrels. This can be done by jumping on the platform where the barrels are located. Then crawl into the small hole to get close to the barrel.
After the creature consumes all three barrel, it will try to get up but then the boy will discover that there is another spear in its body. So the boy just needs to go on top of it again and take the spear out.
How to Free Trico in "The Last Guardian'
After feeding Trico the barrels and saving him from the second spear that got through his body, players will be knocked out as the creature unintentionally tosses him to the ground. The next thing players will see is they have awoken again and Trico is already fine but still chained. To free the creature, just climb back on the creature and go up to his neck. This should allow the player to reach the switch which will open all the chains and free the beast.
