Samsung is said to be planning to feature an all-screen design for its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 next year.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Screen Design And Display
According to The Verge, the common front design concept of phones we see today where a black frame surrounding the display which houses essential parts such as the earpiece, proximity sensor, front camera, and home button is something we won't be able to see in the upcoming flagship phone of Samsung and will instead have an all screen design. It is said that if this is true, then the Xiaomi Mi Mix may be what the Samsung Galaxy S8 might actually look like. Also, it was reported that the next Galaxy phones in 2017 will have a curved and wraparound display.
In a written article at Bloomberg, Samsung is said to be planning to replace its traditional physical home button with a virtual one that will be buried in the glass in the lower section of the screen. However, despite this juicy detail, there are some complications. If the Xiaomi Mi Mix is indeed what the Galaxy S8 will look like, then it's going to be somewhat of a long shot, because though the Xiaomi Mi Mix has an "all-screen" display, its screen is not totally a 100 percent all-screen display. If you will see the Xiaomi Mi Mix, you will notice that it has a black stripe on its bottom. But then again, maybe Samsung has something on its sleeve that can make an "all-screen" display possible.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Processor
It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 might get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, but is also said to get a mix between Samsung's own Exynos line. Another thing worth mentioning is the announcement of Microsoft supporting a new program to bring Windows x86 apps to ARM processors and some tech enthusiasts that it is possible that the Galaxy S8 might have a piece of this action. It has been long rumored that Microsoft's upcoming Surface phone concept design is a phone that has the internal stuff reminiscent of a laptop but wrapped in a mobile device. Perhaps we might be able to see this technology featured in the Galaxy S8.
