Final Fantasy XV Guide: How To Use Armiger Arsenal To Your Advantage

Among the many best things about Final Fantasy XV is its features. It makes the whole gameplay experience unique and thrilling at the same. It's the kind of stuff that one can't simply see or experience in game of the same genre. However, there's one that barely gets the attention of players -- the Armiger feature. Due to its complexity (albeit little to none), players tend to ignore it. Well, here's a guide that'll help you understand it.

What Is The Armiger Feature

Also known as the Armiger Arsenal, it's made up of the so-called Royal Arms. The latter can be found all throughout the game's world. The special ability it offers is the one from Noctis, one of the protagonists in the title. Thanks to it, the character is able to attack viciously. And not just that, the feature allows him to cycle through various Royal Arms. It also gives the character a significant boost in terms of power and attack speed.

How The Armiger Arsenal Works

In order to utilize it, Final Fantasy XV players must first charge it. It should be enough to use attacks (warp strikes in particular) with immense power while having a solid advantage when engaging in battles. A circular gauge of sort (wrapped around the arms display that can be located in the bottom left of the screen) will appear as it fills up. Once done, it can be unleashed by pressing both RB and LB.

How To Use The Armiger Arsenal Effectively

Unlike the previous titles in the franchise, the new installment has no limit breaks. Because of that, players are able to access the Armiger Arsenal with ease. It even gives them the power to cause double damages to their enemies. Nevertheless, it'll work as Noctic's limit break system. It doesn't also give players the access to anything that's explosive (nothing similar to the previous games).

The key here is to obtain more weapons, something that can be recovered in the Tomb of Kings in Final Fantasy XV. Because the more of it players acquire, the nastier their attacks can be become. And since the Royal Arms tend to appear in Noctis during battles, he can simply switch between them in every fight.

Where To Obtain The Royal Arms

The answer is simple: it's in the Tombs of Kings. Remember that among these is the Swords of Wandered, which can be automatically acquired as soon as the part of the game's story ends. Several of these Royal Arms can be found in various main quests. Don't worry -- they're not that difficult to add.

It's worth noting, however, that some of these Armiger Arsenal in Final Fantasy XV will require the hunting of hidden Tombs. Doing so will make it possible for players to find these. For instance, the Axe of the Conqueror can be obtained during The Power of the Kings quests. The Bow of the Clever, on the other hand, is located within the Balouve Mines' Royal Tomb.
