The 15x WWE Heavyweight Champion was out of action since he lost his match against the current WWE Heavyweight Champion, The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles. There were some rumors that he is taking the time off to recuperate an undisclosed injury. There are other rumors stating that he is slowly moving away from the WWE spotlight and letting other guys like AJ Styles to run the show. In an interview before with Michael Cole(WWE play by play announcer), the Cenation leader admits that AJ Styles is the one man he wants to beat.
These two iconic superstars were the best in their own world. AJ Styles was the king of the indie scene, while John Cena flourish the WWE Universe. John Cena and AJ Styles won the same amount of major titles in their career. They were the major topics on the internet of “what if” matches. Then dreams to come true when the former Bullet Club member joined WWE. He immediately made a statement and his Royal Rumble appearance is considered as the most shocking entrant of all time.
John Cena and AJ Styles battled numerous times but it always ends up in a controversial manner. Due to his partnership with The Club, AJ Styles was having the edge against the Cenation leader. John Cena then called out AJ Styles stating that he is not man enough to face him on one on one match. Then Summerslam came, AJ Styles beat John Cena fair and square. The WWE Universe were thrilled with the match proclaiming it as the Match of The Year.

He then again battled for the WWE Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match. John Cena was getting the upper hand, so as Dean Ambrose. However, The Phenomenal One was able to escape and run away with the victory. John Cena haven’t won any match for a long time and the Cenation legion is worried about it. With no warning or hint, John Cena moved away from the spotlight and concentrated in doing movies and hosting major events.
John Cena is a pop culture icon. He is multi talented and can do things outside the ring. He already made some cameo appearances with other movies last year but this year will be different. Most of John Cena’s movie is somehow comedic. The last time we saw Cena in a “okay” film was when he starred in The Marine. Now, with the help of his co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, John Cena might have struck a gold.
The Wall Movie is like the American Sniper but with a twist. If you weren’t able to see the trailer, you can watch it right now in YouTube. The scenario and the plot is simple but very engaging. Aaron and John looks to hunt terrorist by using their snipers. But, little do they know, they are being hunted by a much better sniper. The wall is the only thing that is protecting Aaron from the sniper, while John Cena is lying on the ground helpless. Be sure to catch John Cena as well in this week’s episode of SNL.
