Former NBA MVP and all-time favorite Kobe Bryant is one proud dad as he celebrates the arrival of his third daughter with wife, Vanessa. The good news was shared by the couple via social media and fans were quick to notice that the basketball superstar is in full daddy mode.
E! News reported that Kobe Bryant and wife of 15 years, Vanessa, have welcomed their little bundle of joy which marks the third daughter for the lovely couple. The two are also the proud parents of Natalie Diamante Bryant, 13, and Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, 10.
It can be recalled that Kobe and Vanessa announced the good news back in July, just a few months after the NBA star officially retired after 20 successful years. The couple shared their adorable baby news on their Instagram accounts.
Vanessa posted a snap of a cute pair of black and red boots, a white onesie with the words "Baby Mamba," and a sparkly red bow. Kobe also shared the same photo, expressing his excitement of being a father once again.
This will be the first time Kobe will raise his child without playing for the NBA. Many believe the hoop star will be on full daddy mode now that he has a lot of spare time. Apparently, Kobe is more than excited about it and is looking forward to more daddy and daughter moments.
The newest addition to the Bryant family is expected to bring the family even closer together especially Kobe and Vanessa. To recall, the couple first met in November 1999 and tied the knot in 2001. They welcomed their first daughter in 2003, followed by their second in 2006.
Kobe and Vanessa also faced some struggles in their relationship. Vanessa filed for divorce from her husband in December 2011 due to infidelity claims. Eventually, the couple called off the divorce in January 2013.
