A report came out on that day indicating that Matt Stone and Trey Parker have inked a deal with the network that will extend the show for three seasons and 30 episodes.
Michele Ganeless, President of Comedy Central announced on that day that the deal would be for three additional seasons. That deal ensured that the Peabody and Emmy award-winning TV series will continue its run. Original episodes will be produced by the network, including the upcoming "South Park" season 21, even up through 2019.
