'Blindspot' Season 2, Episode 10 Spoilers: Patterson Survived? Amnesiac Roman Is On The Loose

It seems like Jane's decision to erase Roman's memory was a bad move. The siblings will have some conflict as "Blindspot" season 2 returns with episode 1 in January. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Patterson was the one who got shot in the midseason finale of the crime drama series.

In "Blindspot" season 2, episode 9, Jane decided to give his brother a new start by wiping his memories. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show's executive producer Martin Gero said Roman will play a larger role as Jane tries to bend him to the right path in "Blindspot" season 2, episode 10.

However, he hinted that erasing Roman's memory might not have been a good decision. Roman will get some flashes of his memories so he might get angry with Jane upon discovering what she did. The upcoming episodes will also explain more about Roman's character. "Is he a sociopath? Is that something that you can fix by wiping your memory? Is he capable of love?" Gero said.

The official synopsis for "Blindspot" season 2, episode 10 reveals that an amnesiac Roman is on the loose while Jane and Weller will race against Shepherd to find him before it's too late. This definitely spells trouble. Gero added that Shepherd will be more unpredictable and crazier after losing her family.

Another person Jane and Weller need to find is Patterson, who would be missing after the shooting cliffhanger in the last episode. The synopsis hints that Patterson was the one who was shot instead of Borden, but Gero teased that Patterson might still survive.

"Yes, I can give them some hope," Gero responded to the question if Patterson is alive. It all leads to the hope that Borden had some lingering feelings for Patterson and did not shoot his girlfriend in a vital part after she learned that he is the mole. "Blindspot" season 2, episode 10 titled "Nor I, Nigel, AKA Leg in Iron" will air on Jan. 4, 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
