Stardew Valley is out now on console. One highlight of the game is getting courting NPC's and getting married to them. There are lots of NPCs present in the game but there are only certain characters that you can choose to marry; one of which is the NPC named Abigail.
Building Relationship With Abigail In Stardew Valley
Just like in real life love scheme, one way to build a relationship in Stardew Valley is sending her items and gifts she loves. A total of ten hearts are required for marriage and can only be obtained through giving items she enjoys. There are lots of options you give to Abigail from goods to minerals. The best items you can give to win her heart immediately are Amethyst, Chocolate Cake, Pufferfish, Pumpkin, and Spicy Eel. Don't forget her birthday on Fall 13 and give her a gift on that day. Note that in Stardew Valley, you can only give two gifts per week.
Proposing To Abigail
As soon as you get eight hearts with Abigail, head to Peirre's General Store and buy a bouquet. Trade the bouquet to Abigail so that your relationship with her will progress from friendship to lovers. Continue to impress her with gifts until you earn ten hearts. Once you've earned ten hearts with NPCs in Stardew Valley, you will be able to propose to them with a Mermaid's Pendant. Mermaid's Pendant can be purchased from the Old Mariner who stands along the North side of the Eastern Beach during a rainy day for 5,000 golds.
Having A Married Life In Stardew Valley
A marriage ceremony will take place three days after your proposal then your new partner will move into your farm and live with you. Being married is an advantage in Stardew Valley since your partner will help you with your daily chores like watering plants and feeding animals. Keep your relationship with Abigail strong by keeping an interaction with her and giving her gifts.
If you wanna have children with your spouse in Stardew Valley, upgrade your home to level 3. Upgrading from level 1 to 2 requires you 10,000 golds and 450 wood and upgrading your home from 2 to 3 needs 50,000 golds and 150 hardwood. Abigail will soon ask if you want to have a child. You can say yes or not, it's up to you. If you say yes, a child will appear in your nursery after a few days. He or she will grow over time and you'll be able to interact with him or her.
