The new Watch Dogs 2 patch is already out with some amazing add-ons along with it. Aside from that, there is also a surprise appearance of a very popular celebrity.
The new Watch Dogs 2 patch is out in preparation with the game's soon-to-be DLC. This will also bring some bug fixes in the game as well as balance its multi-player modes. Though the patch has brought some necessary changes, it also brought some funny ones.
In a discussion about the recent patch found in the comment section of a Kotaku article, one user commented that the patch had allowed him to meet Larry David of the HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. It looked like a chance encounter in the story because David was out taking trash when Marcus Holloway, the main character of Watch Dogs 2, spotted him.
Like all other people who have just seen a celebrity, Marcus was obviously starstruck and he took a selfie of him and David, who didn't seem to mind the request.
Aside from Larry David, the patch also made the fog in Watch Dogs 2 more realistic. Some players who are from that are or are familiar with the Bay area said that it is like how they remembered it. Another addition brought by the patch is the policewoman that demands players to "pull over."
The biggest feature that will benefit the patch, however, will be the Hacking Invasion. Most of the update will focus on "preventing the occurrence of accidental discoveries." To solve this, NetHack will have a small delay before revealing the identity of the person that is being targeted. Moreover, the targeting schedule has been reduced.
There are also some changes made in the shooting mechanics including the sound of the gun when you fire it as well as the recoil. This time, there is more accuracy every time you fire multiple rounds.
