Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2 are two of the most popular games today. With different themes, both have earned their own loyal followings. Those who are into computer and hacking will love Watch Dogs 2 while those who are into stealth and fantasy will want Dishonored 2. Let's look more closely into each game to help you decide.
Dishonored 2 has two characters to choose from: Corvo or Emily, each with their own powers and abilities. The gameplay is affected by every decision you make along the way. Which means, the game can have a darker or lighter mood based on how you act upon every situation. Deciding whether you have to go the lethal or non-lethal route will also guide you which powers to boost early on. With these in mind, the player will expect to have different endings. According to the developers of Dishonored 2, the game has around 12 different endings based on the choices you make and affects every main character in the game.
Watch Dogs 2, on the other hand, has a Mr. Robot feel to it where the protagonist and a team of hackers try to take on the ctOS 2.0, a computer corporation which runs the whole city. The protagonists use their hacking skills to take down the system which showcases very cool tech gadgets. It also allows you to maneuver a drone and put to work some amateur detective skills. Aside from hacking skills, the game can take a violent turn depending on your choice. You can stun enemies or hack them to their deaths using any available tools just so you won't be detected by ctOS 2.0.
Both games are good depending on your preference. Rank-wise, though, Dishonored 2 has the edge over Watch Dogs 2. Metacritic has given Dishonored 2 a 91 percent rating while Watch Dogs 2 gets an 85.
