Rainbow Six Siege is considered as ultimately successful during its first year according to Ubisoft. This is due to the consistent sales that is largely the result of the on time release of its downloadable content and its balancing efforts. The game released an announcement about its second year of content for 2017 that includes four additional content packs.
As the year comes to a close, Ubisoft will be giving out more surprise for the fans through the unlocking of new challenges and unique rewards. The release of Rainbow Six Siege is a party of the holiday and for its one year anniversary since the release of the game, Ubisoft decided to launch special in-game challenges which will allow players to unlock unique rewards. The post also officially reveals what Rainbow Six Siege players can do so that they can unlock those specific rewards, according to Game Rant.
Based on the official site of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, this Christmas challenge officially launched the other day, and it came along with it a lot of special Christmas themed charmed and weapon patterns. An Invisible Hat Charm can be obtain with ten kills with a gadget or melee, whereas 20 kills will give the players the Kapkan Santa Charm. These challenges will expire on Dec. 27, and the completion of 30 kills through either a melee or a gadget before the said date will give players the Nutcraker Weapon Pattern.
On Dec. 27, the New Year's Eve challenge wil be kicking off, and players would have to earn a match MVP with over 4000 score. Upon the completion of this challenge, the disco ball charm will be unlocked. The Rainbow Six Anniversary Challenges first challenge had already started, and it will be requiring 10 rounds of wins from the French GIGN unit so that they can obtain the Twitch's shock drone charm.
